The Riverbend Road winery is situated near Meeanee, the area where Hawkes Bay’s earliest vineyards were established.
The land has supported grapes since the vines were planted in the early 1970s and the soils offer a richness to produce our gorgeous reds (Malbec) and delicious whites (Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay).
These vines are based on root stocks and clones which are enhanced by the soils, the beautiful Hawke’s Bay warmth and the cooling impact of sea breezes – they combine to bring out the terroir of the area, to produce great wines of delicious quality.
